Ashtanga yoga is a traditional yoga system based on a specific set sequence of poses. Breathing is the key element of this practice, as we breath "with sound" in a regular rhythm, the body gets heated and the organs get oxygenated. Ashtanga yoga is practiced early in the morning as it aims to fuel and energize the body and mind for the rest of the day.
